Weekly training schedule - Summer
(until mid September usually)

Tuesday

7:15pm. Meet in the car park in Horton Country Park. See the Schedule for the summer training plan for 2017. All levels can participate and beginners may do less repetitions until they are used to the pace.

Thursday

7pm for a 7.15pm run.

Usual venue: Meet at the Car Park on Epsom Downs near to Tattenham Corner (by the Tea Hut). This is a training run of approximately six miles. A slower group usually sets off 5 minutes in advance and runs 8 - 9 minute mile pace.

During the summer, there are usually several race meetings on Epsom Downs on Thursday evenings. Therefore the venue changes to by the Blue Ball pub, opposite the Pond in Walton-on-the-Hill.

Dates for these meetings for 2017 are: July 6, 13, 20, August 3 and September 14.

Sunday

8:30 am meet, 8:40 start. The tea hut, Epsom Downs.
There are a variety of routes available from this lovely location. We try to accommodate all runners, but newcomers should check with a committee member that they are comfortable with the pace and distance. Contact details for committee members can be found on the About us / Our committee page on the website.

Please note, we encourage our members to take part in the MABAC league events, so there will be no Sunday training on these dates. See race schedule for a list of these dates; also see club events for more details of the MABAC league.
